Options and Advocacy for McHenry County needed a refreshed website that would provide helpful information about the type of services and programs they offer as well as their latest news and ongoing events. As we launched the website, Options and Advocacy was in the middle of their largest fundraising event of the year, Oktoberfest. We integrated a call to action banner to inform visitors about the event, why it’s important to donate to the cause along with links to the sponsorship forms. We even included a graphical chart showing the current level of their goal for reaching $25,000.
Options and Advocacy has a number of programs to help families with young children who have disabilities as well as older adults in need of their services. We wanted to help visitors quickly find the information that best pertains to their needs. We accomplished this by dedicating a key area of the homepage to each of the programs and services offerered so the visitor could easily find informatoin relevant to them.
The entire website is built on a content management system which allows for easier maintenance of the website while also taking advantage of SEO optimized urls.

Options and Advocacy for McHenry County has been making a difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities since 1991. Last year we served 1,400 children and adults. We believe that every individual has the right to live, work, and play in the community of his or her choice.
