CARL was launching a brand new line of paper trimmer products that featured a new paper holder made of a green light harvesting acrylic which allowed for more accurate cuts.
The new line would be featured in its new website and in stores across the United States such as Staples and other office product stores.
Lucca Alla Moda set out to capture the feeling of the new product by designing a logo that emulated light hitting the acryclic paper holder. The result was an International Davey Award Winning design 
that helped launch CARL’s new product line.
