A person, not a queue

Whatever comes in is read by somebody who works here. There is no ticket number and nothing gets routed to a department, because there are no departments.

Usually the same day on weekdays

If it lands Monday to Friday you will nearly always hear back that day; on a day we are on site all day it is the next morning. If it lands Friday evening you will hear back Monday, and we would rather say that than pretend otherwise.

The phone is a real phone

There is one line and one person on it. If it goes to voicemail we are on another call, and leaving a message works better than calling twice.

Nothing here adds you to a list

Writing to us does not sign you up to anything. If you want the occasional note about what we have been working on, that is a separate thing you would have to ask for.
