Custom web apps. The clipboard is the system.
Somewhere in the business there is a route sheet, a whiteboard, a carbon pad or a spreadsheet that everything runs on, and one person who understands it. We build the web app that replaces it, on the tablets and phones the people doing the work already carry, with the office seeing it as it happens.
Start with a planThe last one replaced a clipboard.
Middle West Pet Distributors ran delivery routes across Chicagoland on a handwritten log, a printed route sheet and a carbon-copy inspection pad. Now the route is on the driver's tablet and the office sees every stop as it happens. Drag the handle: the paper is theirs, the screen is the app.

That is one delivery day, told at every stop, before and after. Read the day.

Right now it lives in one person's head.
Built for one business, on purpose.
Not a product with your logo on it. These are one-offs, built around how your business already runs, because the reason the off-the-shelf option didn't fit is usually the part that makes you money.
Field and operations apps
Routes, inspections, deliveries, job sheets. On the tablet in the truck or on the site, working without a signal, with the office watching it live.

Somewhere your customers log in to see their own information, or somewhere you watch your numbers without asking anyone.

Getting QuickBooks, your CRM, your booking system and your forms to talk to each other, so the same information stops being typed three times.
See how it worksAI where it helps
Intake, drafting, summaries, the reading nobody has time for. Used where it saves real hours, and left alone where it doesn't.
See how it worksOne screen instead of forty routes on paper. That is a real one. Read the day.

The system already exists. It just isn't written down.
Somebody knows which shelf, which supplier, what to charge and who to call when it is short. That knowledge is real and it works, and it is also the thing that walks out of the door on a Friday and does not come back until Monday.
What we build is that, made into something the rest of the business can use. Not a new way of working. The way you already work, with the parts that only live in one head written down where everyone can reach them.
Start with a planThe first ninety days, of a build.
Middle West Pet's routes ran on a clipboard for years before they ran on a tablet. The first ninety days are mostly about the clipboard.
We follow the paper: who writes what, who types it in again, where it goes missing. The thing worth building is almost never the thing described in the first meeting, and this is where that gets found out.
Not a prototype and not the whole system. The narrowest useful thing, on the phone or the desk it will really be used on, doing one real job for one real person.
What the field version looks likeThe exceptions nobody mentioned in week one, the second and third user, and the connections to whatever you already run so nothing gets typed in twice.
Connecting what you runWhen we'll tell you not to build.
Custom software is the most expensive thing on this site and the easiest to talk yourself into. Here's how we decide with you.
It will be cheaper, better tested and supported by somebody else. We'll tell you when that's the answer, and we have talked people out of builds before.
Before we build anything we work out what it's replacing and how long that currently takes. If the arithmetic doesn't come out, the honest answer is no.
You get the code, the accounts and the hosting in your name. If you ever want somebody else to work on it, they can, and that is deliberate.
They have implemented each request we have had for them in a timely manner and have made additional suggestions that have helped us not only sell more products but also to make it easier for our customers to do so… more than just a website design company.
Nobody buys a plan they haven't seen.
Nothing here starts with a quote. It starts with a conversation about where the business is and where you want it to get to, and what it takes to close that gap, written down and yours to keep.
